West Brewery Wedding Photographer

At the time of shooting Kirsten and Matt’s West Brewery wedding, it was genuinely one of the coolest weddings I’d ever been to.

They got married on Easter Friday, which meant wall-to-wall sunshine, good vibes, and a day that felt effortlessly joyful from start to finish. From the morning prep right through to the dancefloor, everything just clicked.

The morning was relaxed and fun, with Kirsten getting ready surrounded by her people. Kirsten’s dress (complete with a cape) was unreal and perfectly suited the laid-back but stylish feel of the day. Meanwhile, Matt and the boys headed off to the Glasgow Green funfair after getting ready, which made for some cracking groom party photos before the ceremony.

Their West Brewery wedding ceremony was conducted by Paul Browett and, as always, it was brilliant. Personal, warm, and full of meaning. Kirsten created much of the décor herself, including banners, stationery, table settings, and even their cake. The ceremony also included handfasting and an oathing stone.

For portraits, we used Glasgow Green, the Victoria Fountain at the People’s Palace, and the inside of West Brewery itself. Later, Kirsten and Matt were keen to head to the Barras for some golden-hour photos, which was 100% the right call. Sunshine, colour, chaos — perfect.

The night finished with a packed dancefloor and an unreal soundtrack from The Brightside, rounding off an already phenomenal day.
